Meet the Audi Activesphere! Now before you get too excited, we need to let you know that this is yet another Audi Sphere concept which is likely to inspire future Audi production cars, rather than being a fully-fledged production-ready car. We’ve previously seen the Skysphere (a 2-seater roadster), the Grandsphere (a posh GT car) and the Urbansphere (a 4-seater city car), but the Activesphere may be the weirdest Sphere concept yet! In terms of the design, it almost looks like an RS7 on steroids! It’s jacked up so it can handle off-road terrain, comes with black plastic trim around the wheel arches, and it’s just as long & wide as a Q8! What’s more, it even has the ability to transform the back end into a pickup! On the inside, there are four separate seats and even a VR headset for each passenger! The cabin is surrounded by glass, including a glass panoramic roof, glass panels in the doors, and even a glass grille! The Activesphere also highlights autonomous driving tech of the future, so the steering wheel and dash are hidden at first, but can be brought out if you actually want to get hands-on with the driving. Naturally, the Activesphere is an EV, but its two electric motors can combine to produce 442hp and 720Nm of torque. But what do you think, is the Activesphere just too ridiculous? Or would you like to see something pretty similar go into production?
